"I first visited Indonesia in 2015 on a trip to Bali. The culture, the people, the cuisine and the scenery were undeniably moving. But over the years, Bali became overdeveloped and lost its appeal. When I first visited Lombok, I fell in love with the island instantly and knew right away this is where I wanted to be. The unspoiled landscape and strong connection to nature, coupled with the focus on traditional Sasak culture, make Lombok a unique tranquil paradise. You really have to visit and immerse yourself in it all to be able to grasp Lombok’s undeniable beauty and essence."
Christophe Brillard was born and raised in Paris, France where he earned his French Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political and Social Sciences. Combining knowledge he gained through study of psychology and cosmetology, he created and taught a personal image consulting class where, at 23, he was the youngest teacher at the French Academy of Paris. He moved to the USA in 2003 to pursue his career as a stylist and entrepreneur. Since then, Christophe Brillard traveled all over the world and fell in love with Lombok, Indonesia. In 2024, he brought his vision and inspirations to life and created DREAM PROPERTY LOMBOK to share his love and passion with other travelers who desire to invest in Lombok and experience the unique beauty the island offers.
Zaini Adnan
“Growing up as a child in Torok, farming was the only life I knew. Only a dozen families lived in my village. We planted and harvested rice, bananas and coconuts, and we raised and shepherded buffaloes. It was very hard work but I always believed in the natural beauty of my village and its potential. So when developers first showed interest in the area, I actively participated in guiding my community to welcome this opportunity. Later, I started investing myself, and my life has completely changed since then. I feel very blessed now to be able to take great care of my family and give back to my community."
Zaini Adnan was born in Torok, Lombok, Indonesia, to a family of local farmers. After completing high school at age 19, he attended law school at the Mataram University and then moved to Saudi Arabia to study business. He returned to Lombok in 2007 and went on to become an active figure in the local community. After president, Joko Widodo, designated the Mandalika area as a priority for tourism, the economy sparked and Zaini took a chance. He sold all of his farm land and turned his attention to investing in real estate and build his own portfolio. He soon became a land broker specializing in South Lombok where he represented and aided major international companies, successfully negotiating with and acquiring land from locals. In 2024, he decided it was time to take his career to the next level and become a developer himself. He shared his vision and love for his culture with Christophe Brillard and then joined him as investor and director at DREAM PROPERTY LOMBOK.
